What is Plekt?
Plekt connects businesses, shops and brands with content creators. A business posts a Deal: this is what I give, this is what I want in return. The creator who likes the look of it steps forward. Usually that is a trade, a dish or a product for a reel or a set of photos, but paying is possible too.
How does a barter deal with a content creator work?
The business writes down what it gives and what it expects: how many images, on which channel, when. Creators nearby step forward and the business picks who to work with. The rest you settle in the chat on Plekt. The creator makes the content, publishes it and it lands on both profiles, with the numbers next to it.
How much does Plekt cost?
For creators: nothing at all. For businesses, Plekt is free for as long as the launch phase runs. Your only cost is what you give away in your own Deal. So you set it yourself.
Who is Plekt for?
For every shop, business or brand that wants content and reach without a four-figure media budget: hospitality, retail, webshops, beauty, fitness, culture. And for creators who want to work with places they actually like, big or small.
How many followers do I need to become a creator?
At least 500 on one channel: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest. You do not need to be an international influencer. Nano and micro-creators with an engaged local audience get the same chances here, often more.
Do I need a VAT number to join?
As a creator, no. You create an account for free and trading works without a company of your own. To get paid you do need to be 18 and have a valid VAT number, because you then invoice as a self-employed person. A business signs up with its Belgian VAT number.
In which cities and regions does Plekt work?
Everywhere in Belgium. From Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges to Liège, Charleroi, Namur and Brussels. You pick your municipality on your profile, so you see the businesses and creators near you first.
How do I find content creators for my business?
Create a free business account and post a Deal. Creators in your municipality see it and step forward. Rather search yourself? That works too: filter by city, niche and audience. Invite whoever you want. You choose, always.
What is the difference between Plekt and an influencer agency?
An agency picks for you, charges a media budget and sits between you and the creator. On Plekt there is nobody in between: creators step forward, you choose and most Deals run on trade instead of money.
How do I know a creator's reach is real?
Because it does not come from the creator. They connect their Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest account and Plekt pulls the numbers straight from the platform. Nobody can make them look a little better on the way. The same goes for the results of published content and for the reviews.
